Specialty Membrane Elements

TriSep offers a broad array of spiral wound membrane products. With one of the broadest selections of CA, NF, UF, and MF membrane chemistries, TriSep can deliver or design a product for your specific requirement. In addition, TriSep offers several construction varieties including sanitary TurboClean, high pressure, high temperature, and different thickness feed spacers. G.E. OSMONIC / DESAL DIRECT REPLACMENTS

Direct replacements are available for current and discontinued models. Items such as the MARCOR 23G used in dialysis can be converted to 4040-ACM-23G (spec). If components or parts are needed, those are available also without the long lead tims.

Cellulose Acetate Membranes

TriSep SB Cellulose Acetate Membranes offer a good combination of rejection, fouling resistance, and chlorine tolerance. The combination of high chlorine tolerance and smooth surface morphology makes these membranes a perfect fit for applications where biofouling is an issue. TriSep offers SB series membranes in a wide variety of sizes and tube dimensions to replace nearly all manufacturers’ CA elements. A common membrane used in the car wash industry that can tolerate higher chlorine is the 4040-SB20-TSF (spec).

Spiralwound Ultrafiltration & Nanofiltration Elements

Ultrafiltration membranes are available in pore sizes of 3,5000 MWCO to 0.2 micron.

  Applications include dairy, dialysis , color removal from water, glycol filtering, and whey protein concentrations. 

RO 8038-ACM2-31 (spec) & NF 8038-TSS40 (spec) are used in dairy applications and have an exceptional approval rating from OEM's and end users.  

For UF dialysis applications the TURBOCLEAN™HP 4040-UF-F is a commely used for 4" systems.

A common membrane for GYLCOL, the UE50 membrane (spec) is a polyethersulfone ultrafiltration membrane with a molecular weight cut-off of 100,000 Daltons. UE50 rejects 90% of 100,000 molecular weight dextran. UE50 membrane is used for applications to remove macromolecules or to concentrate large organic solutes.     .
